In this episode, we’ve turned two! It’s been an amazing 2 years of doing Dialogika and having incredible conversations with truly inspiring individuals about topics and issues we really care about — and who’d knew our “flimsy but earnest logic” would have kept us going for so long so far! We’re deeply grateful for all the support we’ve received over the years from our listeners, friends, and family members, so thank you to everyone who have been with us from the very beginning. That said, we want to take this time to reflect and self-criticize some of our past episodes and questionable episode titles, because we do believe that we’ve both grown as individuals and intersectional feminists since we started this podcast (and, in part, because of this podcast) and it’s important for us to keep ourselves accountable to the highest standard as we’re navigating difficult and sensitive issues with a huge amount of privilege. We recognize that and we want to talk openly about how we can always do better, and continue to do so as long as we’re doing Dialogika!
Listeners, if you have any thoughts or responses to anything we’ve talked about here — whether that’s just to drop a note or to bring up other criticisms and feedback we haven’t addressed — please do reach out and let us know!
Thanks for listening!
