Happy holidays, and Merry Christmas to all of our Christian and Catholic friends who are celebrating, as well as Happy Hanukkah to all of our Jewish friends! It’s been a hell of a long year, and we’ve actually taken some time off ourselves for our own end-of-year holidays, so we don’t have a full episode for you this week — but we do have outtakes in the form of segments that didn’t make it into our full episodes!
In this bonus episode we share with you some of the conversations and thoughts that — for better or for worse — didn’t make the final cut, sometimes because it’s recorded poorly, sometimes because it no longer fits with the rest of the episode, and sometimes simply because we didn’t have enough time. We also take a moment to look back at 2016 and consider the importance of engaging in constructive dialogue with common sense and logic, after a year filled with divisive and discriminatory rhetoric from all across the globe.
Finally, we just wanna say again a massive thank you to everyone who have supported us, behind the scenes and in front of the mic, as well as those who’ve continued to listen to our episodes and follow us online! We now have 20 episodes + 2 bonus episodes — with an accumulated 461 minutes and 47 seconds of recording (that’s over 7.5 hours!), as well as over 2,000 follows on Facebook — and we couldn’t have done it without you! We can’t wait to continue bringing the latest and greatest of Dialogika for you guys in the new year! Many, many thanks for listening to our flimsy but earnest logic, and see you on the other side of December 31st in a few weeks!
Much love,
Swedian & Stephanie
